ATW field engineers are available at your request to provide screw and barrel wear inspections in your plant at your convenience. If necessary, dimensions will be taken for the future preparation of manufacture blueprints. Evaluating your present process, we will provide recommendations as to screw performance or modifications necessary, as well as a report of wear properties. We'll travel to your location, whether your plant is state-side or international, offering a complete Spanish / English technical and sales service.
PATENTED SCREW DESIGN
ATW's 'Hopscotch' screw design, offers our clients a high-production alternative to the everyday 'general purpose' screws offered by OEM's. Our 'Hopscotch' mixer may be adapted for either injection or extrusion processes as well as a variety of resins. Our design utilized in injection processes will increase recovery time 20-25%, as well as providing better mixing and melt without retention of material. In the extrusion process the 'Hopscotch' allows for quick color changes and better mix, without trapping foreign materials which find their way into your resin, a bonus when processing regrind materials.
