Using HMG Screw Technology
Our screws can be produced using wear-resistant nitrided steel (1.8519). Or upon request, with special steels that resist chemically aggressive formulations. The screw flanks can be additionally coated with a molybdenum-alloy or optionally with a higher wear resistance VCR-alloy layer that is applied using a laser welding process. User-specific screw design with an optimized geometry is our answer to cut-priced standard screws that cannot fulfill the requirements of the modern-day production process.
Our experienced R&D department can develop the specific screw geometry that you need. We also offer the refurbishment of screws using build-up welding to apply a wear-resistant layer. Our production facility can produce screws of up to 5m in length having diameters ranging between 35 and 160 mm of any screw geometry.

Using HMG Barrel Technology
Our twin-screw barrels are produced with high-quality steel (1.8550) and are machined on state-of-the-art milling equipment. The nitrided cylinder layer of 0.8 mm is achieved using a two-step heating process.
If an even higher service life is needed, we can supply cylinders with an extremely wear-resistant BIMETALLIC liner based on 4 different alloy specifications. (leaflet available upon request) Refurbishing options are available upon requests.

Parallel Twin Screw Extruders
HMG extrusions Twin-Screw extruders have been designed to extrude PVC dryblend or pellets, resulting in a high performance and reliable extruder that provides excellent throughput and quality of pipes, profiles and pellets. Output capacities start from 80 kg/hr. up to 1200 kg/hr. Standard features are A/C Vector Drive and German gear box. Latest screw design result in superb melt homogeneity and in optimum productivity.

Conical Twin Screw Extruders
The proven screw geometries will give high outputs with less wear even when using regrind material or higher filled formulations. Standard features, among others, are an A/C vector drive, a sturdy vertical gearbox for easy maintenance and double vacuum storage. The Screw designs guarantee a wide range of applications with high output.

Single Screw Extruders – Lumen
These extruders are specifically designed for HDPE / PP / PPR / XPE / ABS / Soft PVC / PMMA / TPE / PC pipes and profiles with minimum space requirements. The screw length of 33 D results in a reliable machine with a wide output range. The standard extruder comprises a nitrided screw and barrel, a dependable control system, and a touch screen as an extra option.

Single Screw Extruders – Candela
Single-screw extruders are offered for polyolefin pipes such as HDPE / LDPE / PP / PPR and X-PE materials.
Our new generation CANDELA extruders are equipped with a grooved feed bush. This, in combination with our newly designed “PUSH FEED” screw geometries of 36 D length, results in high-quality extruders that can produce pipe diameters from 12 mm to 1000 mm.
Standard features, among others, are the use of A/C vector drives, direct-drive gearboxes, PUSH FEED screw designs that guarantee superb melt homogeneity, high output, high torque at lower screw speed and better physical properties of the end product.

PE/PP/PPR Pipe Heads
HMG extrusions advanced design for polyolefin pipe heads utilizes a 3-stage diversification of the melt flow path through the die, resulting in excellent homogeneity. This design allows for higher outputs with low-pressure build-up and low melt temperatures. It also provides a wide processing window allowing products to be extruded with consistently high quality. Pipes produced with our pipe heads have very smooth internal surfaces with no internal spiral or flow lines on either thick or thin-walled pipes.

HMG extrusions PVC pipe heads are designed and precision-engineered for superior performance under all operating conditions, achieving excellent homogeneous melt. With our new innovative design, even temperature-sensitive materials can be processed safely and efficiently. Our smaller models are perfectly suited for High-Speed Dual Extrusion up to 160mm and 4-Strand Extrusion up to 32mm.

Belling Machines
We offer a complete range of Inline Belling Machines for PVC / PP pipes up to 630 mm, Dual and 4-Strand pipe production. The high-speed machines are capable of matching any extruder output, giving superb quality sockets and bell ends.
The high-speed jerk-free motion of all moving parts between heating and socketing station allows for high-speed socketing. Single and double heating stations allow for gentle heating, with no thermal damage to the pipe.

Pulverizer
HMG Extrusions are able to offer 2 types of Pulverizer models which work by means of discs to achieve particle sizes of 300 microns which can pulverize U-PVC pipes, profiles granules, foam and film flakes. The estimated output, depending on the material and micron size, will be between 20–300 kg/h.
