ATW field engineers are available at your request to provide screw and barrel wear inspections in your plant at your convenience. If necessary, dimensions will be taken for the future preparation of manufacturer blueprints. Evaluating your present process, we will provide recommendations as to screw performance or modifications necessary, as well as a report of wear properties. We’ll travel to your location, whether your plant is stateside or international, offering a complete Spanish / English technical and sales service.

The Hopscotch Feed Screw

The ‘Hopscotch’ screw design, offers our clients a high-production alternative to the everyday ‘general purpose’ screws provided by OEM’s.

Our ‘Hopscotch’ mixer may be adapted for either injection or extrusion processes as well as a variety of resins.

A Patented Screw Design

Our design utilized in injection processes will increase recovery time 20-25%, as well as provide better mixing and melt without retention of mathopscotcherial. In the extrusion process, the ‘Hopscotch’ allows for quick color changes and a better mix, without trapping foreign materials which find their way into your resin, a bonus when processing regrind materials. ATW is constantly trying to improve on the screw design technology available today.
